is PRESS specializes in custom short run (5-500 copy) art, poetry, and literature publications. We can design your work or design and print your work – whatever you need! We can spend an hour laying out photos for your zine following your art direction while teaching you how to do it!

Or we can spend an entire year designing a hardcover monograph of your work and guiding you through the process of getting it printed overseas for 20% of the cost. Every project is unique! Please contact us with the below form or directly for a free consultation.

PUBLICATION PRINTING:

For: Zines / Books / Catalogs

is PRESS excels at custom printing projects in low quantity (5-500) that involve unique challenges, cool paper, letterpress printing, extra production help, or an option to be further educated on the process.

We love empowering a DIY approach to zines with a 1-hour education option priced the same as our 1-hour set-up charge, except you learn how to do it!

If you are an experienced designer or production artist shopping for the lowest price, it’s probably not us. If you’re an artist, poet, photographer or writer looking for a sage guide to help you realize your project goal that’s us! Book and catalog projects need to be assessed and estimated. Please contact us with the below form or directly for a free consultation. Zine projects are estimated using the below price sheet.

LETTERPRESS:

For: Zines / Books / Catalogs / Art Prints / Collateral

is PRESS firmly believes that freedom of the press means owning a press! We have two: a 10×15″ Chandler & Price Platen Press (art area 9×12″, sheet size up to 13×19″, runs up to 400) and a Heidelberg Windmill (art area 9×12″, sheet size 10.5×14″, runs up to 5,000+). We also have access to a Vandercook No. 3 (art area 12×18:. sheet size 14×20″, runs up to 200) at MSU Denver where our Creative Director Peter Miles Bergman holds down a day job as a Professor of Communication Design.

We’ve have zine covers, book covers, catalog covers, art prints, artist’s business cards, we were even honored to print the wedding invitations of one of our favorite book cover clients. Unlike a lot of publishing presses we’re not too cool to take your business card job. And unlike a lit of jobbing printers we’re not too busy to print your 100 zine covers! Letterpress projects projects are estimated using the below price sheet. Please contact us with the below form or directly for a free consultation.

INSTALLATION:

For: Art Installations / Exhibition Graphics

is PRESS also excels at creating information oriented art instillations and exhibition graphics. We’ve created a large instillation for The MCA Denver, a whole gallery instillation for Denver’s Dateline Gallery, and freestanding modular wall instillations for The Chicago Cultural Center, and on commission from the Colorado School of Public Health for BRDG Projects (See the case study below). Check out a scroll through of exhibitions and events and a link to our cv’s.

We are open to curation for conceptually driven exhibitions or commissions for experiential graphic design or informational installations. Because we make in-situ collage based instillations that are not realistic for selling on commission, we ask that curators who’d like to work with us to have stipend based funding in the budgets for their exhibitions. Please contact us with the below form or directly to arrange a meeting, send us your call for proposals, or schedule a studio visit.
